Raya Everly isn’t your typical rescue dog and that’s exactly why the right person is going to fall for her.
Yes, she’s beautiful. That might be what stops your scroll. But what makes Raya Everly special lives much deeper than her face. She’s quiet, thoughtful, and emotionally gentle. The kind of dog who watches the world before deciding she trusts it. And once she does? She fits in like she’s always belonged.

Is Raya a cuddly dog? No.
Will she tolerate cuddles? Absolutely, she’ll lay there calmly and allow it.
Will she one day seek affection on her own? Maybe.
But that’s not why you adopt a dog like Raya. You adopt Raya because you believe in the quiet magic of trust being earned. Because you find meaning in routine, gentle coexistence, and the small wins. A relaxed body, a soft glance, a tail wag from across the room. Those are wins. Raya is for someone who understands that love doesn’t always look like fireworks; sometimes it looks like peaceful companionship.
Raya Danna is believed to be a Husky mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 48 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Raya loves routine and thrives on consistency. She learned her foster home’s rhythm in about a week. She’s not rambunctious, enjoys sunbathing, exploring the yard, and chewing on bones, or cooling off in the water. Inside, she’s not destructive, she’s crate trained (and truly loves her crate, it’s her safe place), fully potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. One of the cutest things she does when you take her out of her kennel is full body stretches. She’ll stretch all the way from her head down to each of her toes. She is so mellow and overall low energy that a nice stroll in the neighborhood and she’s already napping in her spot in the house the second she walks through the door.
Raya is dog friendly and has shown that she can peacefully coexist with other dogs, enjoys going on pack walks, and exploring. She’s more of a quiet companion who prefers her own space and feels happiest when other dogs allow her to just do her own thing.
She doesn’t seek out interaction and would do best with calm, respectful dogs who are content sharing a home without expecting friendship or play. She would be perfectly happy as the only dog, but could also live successfully with a mellow, low-energy doggy friend who understands and respects her gentle, independent nature. She will play every now and then with the right dog, but overall that is not her vibe For her, harmony looks like peaceful coexistence rather than playdates and she thrives in that calm, low-pressure environment.
Side note, all dogs have that one thing that opens the door to their heart just a tad bit faster. It’s just figuring out what it is. Well, we’ve already figured that part out for you! One of the ways to this gentle girl’s heart and gaining her trust is through quality time, ear scratches, and her stomach! Typical girl LOL. Raya loves food, especially cheese. She’s not going to run up on you and steal your food by any means. She’s still going to be that calm, cautious girl but she can’t resist a yummy French fry, the smell of popcorn (hello movie night), or treats in general. She also takes treats so incredibly gently that her fuzzy lips almost tickle you. So keep your dog pantry stocked with yummy dog snacks, your calendar open for quality time, and your hands ready for ear scratches.
At her core, Raya is simply… easy. Easy to live with. Easy to train. Easy to trust. She doesn’t add stress, she absorbs it. A quiet soul. A gentle soul. A dog who makes life feel calmer just by being there. If you’re someone who finds joy in earning a dog’s trust rather than demanding it, Raya may be one of the most rewarding companions you’ll ever know.
We are willing to test Raya Everly with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
