DESCRIPTION

This sweet girl has the kind of face that stops people in their tracks. From gorgeous ruby-colored eyes and those big floppy ears that somehow make her look both wise and completely adorable at the same time. Ember Honey has an easygoing personality and the kind of presence that just makes life feel a little nicer. She’s the type of dog who simply enjoys being part of your day, happy to keep you company and quietly settle in beside you while you go about your routine. Ember has that steady, companion-type energy that makes her such a comforting and wonderful dog to share life with.

Ember Honey is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 47 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

Ember is dog friendly and has done well with the dogs she has met so far. She’s more of a relaxed “let’s hang out and enjoy the sunshine” kind of girl rather than the type who needs to be wrestling or playing chase all day long. She enjoys spending time outside exploring all the interesting smells in the yard and simply being in the presence of other dogs. When meeting new doggy friends, Ember prefers a gentle introduction and a little time to get comfortable, she’s the type who likes to get to know her friends first before jumping right into things. Once she feels at ease, she’s happy to share the space and enjoy calm companionship. In a home, Ember would likely do best with another easygoing dog who has a similarly relaxed personality and appreciates a laid-back lifestyle. That said, she also absolutely loves people and would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only little princess.

When it comes to training, Ember loves treats and is eager to please. She already knows how to sit, give paw, down, walks nicely on a leash, is comfortable in her crate, and from everything we’ve seen she has wonderful house manners. She has a calm, balanced energy that makes her a fantastic companion for someone who works from home or simply wants a companion to enjoy strolls around the neighborhood. Ember will happily lounge nearby while you go about your day, occasionally stopping by for a little affection and reminding you it’s time for a cuddle break or when it’s time to get some vitamin D.

One of the best things about Ember is how adaptable she is. She could do beautifully in a home with a backyard where she can sniff around and enjoy the sunshine, but she could also thrive in a condo or apartment with regular walks and quality time with her people. She’s not a high-maintenance pup, a nice walk around the neighborhood, some fresh air, and plenty of snuggles will make her perfectly content. We can easily picture Ember relaxing beside you on the porch during those warm summer evenings while you enjoy a good book or simply take in the quiet moments together.

We have not yet seen Ember interact with young children, but we would be happy to test that for you. Based on the incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving personality she has shown so far, we believe she has the potential to be a wonderful family dog. Ember truly has the kind of heart that just wants to love and be loved.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, snuggles, and quiet happiness, Ember is ready to light up your life. We are willing to test Ember Honey with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
