My story: I was rescued from the side of a dirt road where I had been
abandoned with my brother, Bear. I waited in the same spot for weeks until I was
rescued by my foster mom.
Since then, I have been getting healthier and putting on a little weight. The
vets say I will eventually weigh around 75-80 pounds. I have received
medical care, I’m on preventative medication now, and I have been
neutered. I have also been working on my training. I know several basic
commands, and my foster mom thinks I will be good at agility training.
My brother and I play together a lot, but I enjoy one-on-one time and I will
be okay if I’m adopted by myself. I have a lot of youthful energy and I am
very vocal, likely due to being part Husky. I enjoy attention from my foster
mom, and I like to play with toys.
I love playing with my brother, but I haven’t spent much time away from him
or with other dogs. I like to leash walk, but I react to other dogs. All the vet
staff say I am well-behaved and very sweet.
I would like to be in a home with someone who has an active lifestyle and
who has patience and will give me the training I deserve. I am sweet
natured and I like activities and attention.
Loki is a Courtesy Post. BLR is not responsible for him. We are assisting in giving him exposure and with application screening. Apply at bigloverescue.org.
