German Shepherd Dog and Husky Dogs Available for Adoption

Please meet Cookie! This stunning pup is in search of a permanent address to call her own. Cookie has been spayed, vetted, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. The last box for Cookie to check off is to find a family of her very own. Please read on for her story, and for instructions on how to request an application for her! Here is what we know about COOKIE:

- Cookie is @ 6 months old now, and weighs about 40lbs.

- Cookie and her siblings were born in foster care. Mom is a husky, and dad is believed to be a German shepherd or German shepherd mix. These pups got the best looks of both breeds!

- Both huskies and German shepherds are large dogs, so we full anticipate Star and her siblings being at least 70+lbs full grown.

- Cookie is a happy, healthy, and rambunctious pup who will need a family up to the fun challenges of puppyhood!

- Cookie is very much still a puppy so he will need lots of training and reinforcements to learn proper doggy manners and behavior when she gets to her forever home. She is smart and eager to please, but her new family will need to have patience as she learns.

- Cookie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.

- Cookie currently lives happily in his foster home with other dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think she would do fine as an only dog, but she would love a playmate who could handle some puppy playtime!

- Cookie and her siblings have not been cat tested, but would likely do fine with a dog savvy cat who could tolerate some puppy antics!

- Cookie would make a great family dog for kids 6+ who won't be intimidated by her size and are old enough to understand doggy boundaries.

- German shepherds are super smart, and husky's are notoriously stubborn escape artists, so a secure fenced in yard is a must for this girl, especially as she grows!

- We would love Cookie to go to a breed(s) experienced home who will be able to dedicate the time and patience needed to give this "teenaged" girl the foundation she deserves to thrive!
