My story:
I was rescued from the side of a dirt road where I had been abandoned
with my brother, LOKI. I waited in the same spot for weeks until I was rescued by
my foster mom.
Since then, I have been getting healthier and putting on a little weight. I
have received medical care, I’m on preventative medication now, and I
have been neutered. I have also been working on my training. I know
several basic commands, and I really like learning new tricks.
My brother and I play together a lot, but I enjoy one-on-one time and I will
be okay if I’m adopted by myself. I have a lot of youthful energy, but I also
enjoy being petted and resting at my foster mom’s feet.
I am hesitant around young children and new people, but I have not been
aggressive, I just prefer to make introductions in my own time. I love
playing with my brother, but I haven’t spent much time away from him or
with other dogs. I do well with leash walking, but I do react to other dogs.
All the vet staff say I am well-behaved and very sweet.
I would like to be in a home with someone who has patience and time to work on my training. I am sweet natured and I will be a devoted companion.
Bear is a Courtesy Post. BLR is not responsible for him. We are only assisting the finder in getting exposure and with application screening. Apply at bigloverescue.org.
