DESCRIPTION
Dixie Mill is new to Helping Strays and is still adjusting to her new surroundings. She is a shy, calm girl who takes a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, her sweet side shines through. Dixie Mill enjoys playing fetch with staff and visitors and quietly appreciates gentle attention.
Her ideal home would be a quiet, patient environment where she can settle in at her own pace and build trust on her terms. She is not good with cats and is selective about her dog friends. With understanding and love, Dixie Mill will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
Dixie Mill is about 7 years old and weighs 67 pounds.
The adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.
