Hector's story begins at Memphis Animal Services, where he and his six siblings were surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for them. For older puppies, that surrender was almost a death sentence. Most rescues shy away from pulling entire litters - seven mouths to feed and train is a huge commitment - but when we saw this gorgeous group, we knew they deserved a chance.

Tall and striking, Hector is nearly as big as Rey and Ranger, and if you measured by his oversized ears, he'd be the tallest of them all. He carries the look and energy of a Belgian Malinois mix: smart, active, and incredibly alert.

Hector is also the most "velcro dog" of the bunch - he craves connection and wants nothing more than his very own person to shadow and adore. Neutered and ready for a foster or forever home, Hector is eager to finally step into a life where he's not just surviving with a pack, but thriving with a family.
