DESCRIPTION
Hi there! My name is Bella! I am a 1 year old pinscher/german mix I'm at the Santa Maria Campus.
I am a loving girl who loves attention. I am a happy go lucky kind of gal! I would love to be in a home with people I can snuggle with and be nice and comfy, but I would also love to go out for walks with at the park!
Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed.
Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.
Hope to see you soon!
ABOUT: GERMAN PINSCHER DOG BREED
The German Pinscher is a medium sized dog breed known for its elegant appearance, intelligent nature, and high energy levels. Originating from Germany, these dogs are versatile working dogs with a strong prey drive, making them excellent hunters and watchdogs. Their distinctive short coat comes in various colors such as black and tan or red. German Pinschers are loyal, protective, and thrive on human companionship, making them ideal family pets for active and experienced dog owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
