Licorice came to the shelter as a stray, so her past remains a mystery, but one thing is certain: she is ready to make her future unforgettable. This social butterfly loves meeting new people and is always eager to be the center of attention. Whether she's showing off her goofy side, exploring her surroundings, or soaking up affection, Licorice brings fun wherever she goes.

Don't let her small size fool you—this girl is full of energy and always ready for action. She is looking for an active home that can keep up with her adventurous spirit and provide the exercise, structure, and enrichment she craves. Because of her enthusiasm and energy level, Licorice would do best with an experienced dog owner rather than someone getting their first dog.

Licorice has been friendly with other dogs during her stay at the shelter. Her history with cats and children is unknown.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–4 PM
Thursday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–6:30 PM
Saturday: 9 AM–1 PM

If you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property. If you have another dog at home, please plan to bring them for a meet-and-greet before completing the adoption.

Adoption fees:
6 months and younger: $250
7 months–5 years: $200
6–10 years: $150
11 years and older: $100
