Meet Ava: Retired Mama, Full-Time Diva. Ava is a 4 year old French Bulldog who has officially retired from motherhood and is now pursueing her true passion: being adored! After reaising puppies like the hardworkiing mama she was, Ava is ready to live the soft life.
She has been spayed, is up to date on all her vaccines, and even had a little nose job so she can breathe easier.
Ava adores people and has never met a stranger she didn't like. Her foster home has 4 children ages 4-12 and she loves them all! She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends, though once in a while she can get a little jealous and may try to start minor drama with another dog.
Ava is a well-behaved house guest. She is crated when her people leave and does great, and she's excellent about going potty outside. At night, Ava strongly believes that beds are meant for sharing. She currently sleeps with her foster family and would be happiest in a home where she can continue her nighttime snuggles.
Ava walks nicely on a leash (once you get her to stop playing tug of war with it) and enjos a good stroll as long as the weather meets her standards. Too cold, too hot, too wet? Hard pass. She is a Frenchie, not an adventurer.
Ava has lived peacefully with a rabbit. At first she barked a little out of curiousity, but quickly lost interest and now leaves the bunny alone. She's also been around cats and didn't seem to care much.
Ava LOVES to play. Her favorite toys are frisbees, balls and balloons! Her most favorite toy is a horse jolly ball that will go wth her to her forever home.
She's used to being leashed walked since her foster home doesn't have a fenced yard. When she stayed somewhere with a fenced yard, she was a little unsure about going out alone and preferred having a person with her or being on leash.
Ava would love a home with kids, but she really just wants a family who will love her, play with her, and appreciate her goofy, joyful personality.
If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh daily, share your bed nightly, and loves being treated like the diva she is, Ava is your girl!
Ava's adoption fee is $500 which goes towards her surgery, spay, vaccinces and cost associated with fostering.
