DESCRIPTION

What my friends at OHS say about me:
I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.
To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.

I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things. I already know some basic cues such as, sit & wait.
High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
Escape Artist: I have a history of escaping doors or fences. I will need supervision when outdoors or we can go on adventures together - on leash of course!
I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am!
Don't let my size or breed full you, I am FULL of energy and need appropriate outlets for my energy.

The type of home I'm looking for:
I need to go to a home without small children. My energy and size can be a lot for little kids, but I would do best with older, dog-savvy teenagers.
I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with over arousal in dogs is a must for me.

I may do best in a home where there is a resident dog for me to play with!

It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
