What a journey this little guy has had…. Coming to us months ago with a horrible old leg injury that was infected and nasty. We were hopeful we could save his leg with therapy and medication. Unfortunately after a couple different medication trials, it became clear the injury was A) too old to operate on and B) not going to heal. The leg was in his way and uncomfortable.

Though it hurt us for him to become a “tri-pawd” within a day of surgery, little Asher was jumping around! He was overcome with relief to no longer have a leg that was not operable in his way!

This little guy is the sweetest and truly resilient! He’s happy ALWAYS, goofy and so playful. He hasn’t let life slow him down and deserves a great home. He is good with other dogs and all people.
