MY AGE: 6 years WEIGHT: 26 lbs.

MY STORY: Emoree is a darling little Frenchie who was surrendered locally and is now thriving in her foster home. In just a few short days, she has settled in like she’s always belonged there — the kind of dog who quietly fits into your life without any drama.

She is incredibly soft and sweet and loves to be petted, but she’s not demanding about it. She’ll hop up on the couch to sit right beside you and happily soak up affection. If you’re loving on another dog instead, she doesn’t get jealous — she’ll simply wait patiently, hoping her turn is next. It’s hard not to melt over her gentle nature.

Emmy follows her person from room to room and comes when called. She navigates stairs beautifully, walks well on a leash, and is fully housetrained — she’s been doing great going potty outside. She’s quiet, easygoing, and wonderfully well-mannered in the home.

If her foster mom goes upstairs and Emmy is gated off, she may whine a bit because she simply wants to be close to her people. But when the family went out to dinner for two hours and left her uncrated, she did perfectly — no destruction, no mischief, no stress behaviors. She just waited calmly for them to return. She currently lives with three canine buddies and got along with them immediately, greeting everyone appropriately and confidently. She truly seems to believe there is no such thing as a stranger.

Overall, Emoree is an easy, loving companion who just wants to be by your side. In the short time she’s been in foster care, she has proven to be adaptable, well-behaved, and full of quiet devotion.
