French Bulldog and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Freddie Mercury has thrived in foster care bringing much joy to his foster caregivers and settling in quickly. He’s an absolute love bug who adores people and thrives on affection. He loves playing with toys, following his caregivers around the house, and snuggling (his caregivers enjoy letting him sleep in bed with them each night!). He’s very food motivated (which makes training fun!) and is already completely potty trained. Freddie Mercury enjoys bath time and is fearless in general — nothing seems to faze him much except much bigger dogs which make him nervous. He does get along well with another French Bulldog in the foster home except for some food/resource guarding behavior around his meals and bones. Freddie is incredibly loving and eager to please — he really wants to make his people happy and might be happiest in a home as the only pet. Freddie Mercury is such a sweetheart and has so much love to give.

Freddie Mercury was transferred to Valley Humane on 2/17 from the East County Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his previous owners due to housing issues. Freddie weighs 26.8 pounds and is an adult dog (estimated to be aged 4-7 years old).
