DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Colette! A wild, energetic, and very happy girl with a big personality. I came into rescue needing foreign body surgery, which basically means I'm not great at telling the difference between food and absolutely not food. Because of that, I'll need a human who keeps a close eye on me. Toys and blankets can't be left out unsupervised... I'm a "see it, chew it, swallow it" kind of girl, and safety is the name of the game while I learn boundaries.
I'm okay with calm, chill dogs who don't try to match my chaos, think "roommate," not "wrestling buddy." Right now, I'm looking for a foster who can stick to my feeding plan, help me gain weight safely, and make sure I heal up strong and healthy.
If you're attentive, consistent, and ready to help a high-energy girl stay safe while she puts on some healthy pounds, I promise to bring the fun (and the zoomies) to your life.
ABOUT: FRENCH BULLDOG DOG BREED
The French Bulldog, known for its iconic bat like ears, charming personality, and compact yet muscular build, is a beloved companion dog breed. Originating in France, these affectionate and adaptable dogs are ideal for apartment living due to their relatively low exercise needs. Their distinctive wrinkled face and snub nose make them instantly recognizable, while their playful and sociable nature endears them to families and singles alike. French Bulldogs are known for their loyalty, affection, and gentle temperament, making them a popular choice for dog lovers worldwide.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
