Don’t let the name fool you — Potato is anything but lazy. This 5-year-old cream-colored French Bulldog is full of love, personality, and just the right amount of playful charm.
Potato came to us from deplorable local conditions, but you would never guess it by the way she greets the world now. She is incredibly friendly, trusting, and absolutely adores everyone she meets. Her favorite way to say hello? Lots and lots of kisses.
Like many French Bulldogs, Potato is a perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She enjoys short bursts of fun followed by plenty of time relaxing right by your side. Frenchies are known for being companion dogs through and through, and Potato takes that job very seriously — she wants to be wherever her people are.
She does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. She’s playful and social, but not overwhelming, and she truly just loves being part of the family.
Potato is doing well with going outside for potty breaks and will continue to improve with a consistent routine in her new home.
As a French Bulldog, Potato will do best in a home that understands the breed’s needs. Frenchies can be sensitive to heat and should be kept cool and comfortable, especially in warmer months. They are also known for their adorable snorts, snores, and silly personalities — all part of their charm. Because of their structure, they don’t require intense exercise but do enjoy short walks and playtime.
Potato has already left her difficult past behind and is ready for a life full of love, comfort, and security. She’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily, follow you from room to room, and remind you just how special a second chance can be.
