French Bulldog and Boston Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi, I’m Richie! I’m a 3-year-old male French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix weighing about 20 pounds, and I came from a high-kill shelter in Texas to get my second chance at a forever home. I’m completely deaf, but that doesn’t slow me down at all — I’m a happy, go-with-the-flow little guy who loves life and the people around me.

I do really well with other dogs and have been amazing with children, including my foster’s son. I’ve also done wonderfully with the rescue staff. When I need attention, I may bark to get your eyes on me, but once you respond, I calmly let you know whether I need to go outside or I’m ready for my meal. I’ve done very well with kennel training, and while I’m not fully housebroken yet, I rarely have accidents.

I would thrive in almost any home — active or relaxed, with or without children. I’m fully vetted — neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and current on flea/tick prevention. With a little patience and understanding of my special needs, I’d be a loyal, loving companion who’s always ready to share cuddles, play, and joy with my family.
