Hello Northeastern people! I’m a pretty Foxhound mix, about 3 years old, 37 lbs, and through no fault of my own, I was sitting on death row at the San Antonio Animal Care Shelter in Texas. Thankfully, before my 3-day stay expired, I was saved by 4 Little Paws Rescue, and it turns out I’m lovely, both in appearance and personality. I have a 4” scar on my right side, but it does not bother me. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and ready to find a forever home!
I am a very sweet girl, shy and submissive initially, but once I feel safe, I’m playful and silly, and my love for life is written all over my pretty face. I have a medium-low energy level and love the outdoors, rolling in the grass, basking in the sunshine, hopping around with my doggy playmates, and playing with toys. I am very affectionate and snuggly, and I enjoy lying my head on your lap and cuddling in bed beside you. I don't know how to bark or howl, but when I try, it's a quiet noise, and I sound like Chewbacca, LOL! I am housebroken, love going for walks, don't mind a car ride, and I am good in a crate with a playpen attached, which is currently my safe space. My foster mom says I’ll be very timid at first, almost desperate for love, enjoying a safe space where I can watch the goings on, and get familiar with everything and everyone new. I opened up pretty quickly at my foster home with walks through the grass where I could roll around, and I already understood some boundaries. I know my future looks bright, so East Coast people, inquire about me today!
