Parfait is a gentle, loving soul who has come a long way since moving to Minnesota from the South. This sweet girl spent her early months outside in a kennel with her siblings, so living in a home was brand new to her—but she’s adapted beautifully and is learning more every day about being a cherished family member.
Though Parfait is initially shy around new people, she just needs a little time and patience. Once she’s comfortable, she rewards your kindness with the biggest smiles, happy tail wags, and soft nuzzles. Her trust is a gift—and it’s worth the wait!
One of Parfait’s greatest joys in life? Other dogs! She absolutely thrives in the company of her canine companions. She gains confidence, learns routines quickly, and enjoys playtime and cuddles with her furry friends. In her foster home, she’s become best buds with the resident dogs and follows their lead beautifully.
Parfait is both house- and crate-trained, and once she’s settled, she’ll make an awesome fetch partner and a fun student for learning new tricks. She especially loves cozying up at your feet during the day, offering quiet companionship and warmth.

“Parfait arrived as a shy, skittish little girl, but with time and love, her personality has truly blossomed. She now pushes to the front of the line for scratches and belly rubs—two of her favorite things! She plays chase and wrestles gently with our dogs and is slowly learning that treats are amazing.
Loud noises like motorcycles can still startle her, so we’re taking short, positive walks to help her gain confidence outdoors. She sleeps quietly in her kennel at night, but we think she’d love to snuggle in bed if you’d let her!
Overall, Parfait is a sweet, gentle pup who, with a little time to settle in, will make a loyal and loving companion.”
