Estimated Weight Full Grown: 40 lbs
Estimated Age: 1.5-2 years
Known with Dogs: Coconut is very interested and calm with dogs on walks. She would be great with a calm, confident household dog that doesn't play too roughly.
Known with Cats: Coconut has not been tested with cats, but we would recommend a slow introduction to make sure they can get along.
Known with Kids: Would recommend Coconut go with a family with kids who are very dog savvy or kids ages 8 and up. She loves kids, but can get scared by quick movements.
Known Cues: Sit, paw, touch, down, leave it, come. Coconut is incredibly bright. Walks beautifully on the leash and checks in regularly. She would thrive in a home with someone who is willing to work with her on training.
Known Housebreaking and/or crating: 0 accidents in the crate or the home. Settles quietly and quickly in her crate when needed at bedtime and when you leave. Would not recommend free roaming. Loves her crate.
Known Likes: Very food-motivated. Will do anything for a treat. Loves to go on long walks. She has a high energy need, but that could be satisfied with walks or enrichment. She's happy with either.
Known Dislikes: She does not like loud noises and would not do well in a city or apartment environment.
About This Animal: Coconut is a very smart, loyal companion. She loves to give kisses and loves attention. She has a high energy need. She would do best with a family who is willing to walk her and exercise her. She would be a great adventure buddy. She loves the car and loves to go for long walks. Do you love to go on hikes and runs and would love a buddy? Coconut is your girl!!!
