English Setter Dogs Available for Adoption

"We've had Koda here in MA since early Oct. What a sweet boy, we love him! He enjoys being near people and will snuggle next to you on the couch, even climbing onto your lap or laying his head on your shoulder despite his size! He behaves well inside, is fully house-trained, and doesn't seem to get into anything. Outside, he loves sniffing and running around the yard, tracking squirrels or just laying and watching everything.

Sometimes he's unaware of his size, but he's so well-meaning! It took a few days for my resident dog to warm up to him, but now they play together really well and he shares toys fine. He needs to work on leash skills as he pulls strongly, but he's quite obedient so with training this can be improved. He comes when called and knows basic commands like sit, and sleeps well overnight. He'd do great in a home with a yard. He'd love a dog friend but doesn't need one as he loves people a lot! Overall just a great dog :)"
