DESCRIPTION
Meet Ada Mae! Ada Mae is a 3-year-old, 41lbs female English Bulldog. Ada Mae has had quite the life so far. This young lady has been going through treatment for heartworms and is now heartworm free and ready to find her forever home. Ada Mae is a bit chonky and would benefit from a diet and healthy lifestyle. This lady does have a grade 2 of 4 luxating patella on her right knee and hip dysplasia, so she is looking for a family that is comfortable keeping an eye on her knee and hips which may require surgery at some point, though she does not have any lameness now.
The adoption fee is $400. This includes the spay/neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.
If you are interested in adopting Ada Mae, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Ada Mae" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
ABOUT: ENGLISH BULLDOG DOG BREED
The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
