Meet Winnie, a four year old English Bulldog who weighs 63 pounds with a heart as big as her adorable, squishy cheeks.
Winnie is a beautiful brown-and-white girl who was rescued from a puppy mill breeder and is now ready to discover what true family life is all about. Despite her past, Winnie is incredibly loving, trusting, and eager to soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give.
Winnie is a sweet "little meatball" who lives for cuddle time. Whether it's curling up beside you on the floor, leaning her solid bulldog body against your leg, or showering you with gentle kisses, Winnie's favorite place is right by your side. Winnie absolutely adores attention and happily accepts love and pets from adults and children alike.
One of Winnie's most charming features? Winnie's tiny tongue is almost always sticking out, giving her the cutest, slightly goofy expression that will make you smile every single day.
Winnie is ready for a home where she can be cherished like the princess she is. She just wants a soft bed, lots of snuggles, and humans who appreciate a stocky, affectionate shadow who just wants to love and be loved.
If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly, snorting best friend with endless devotion and a permanently adorable blep, Winnie might just be your perfect match.
Winnie is located in Ohio and her adoption fee is $600.
Winnie is a Special Breed. Special Breeds have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
