English Bulldog Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Pearl! Pearl is a 4-year-old English Bulldog who is as cute as can be. She weighs about 50 pounds and is a sweet, calm, quiet girl who loves to nap and just hang out.

She's slowly starting to explore more each day, checking out different rooms and getting a little braver as she gets comfortable in her surroundings.

Pearl gets along with kids and other dogs. She's also still working on house training and making progress with a routine.

She is currently being fostered in Staten Island and is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow in confidence and just be her sweet, calm self. Her adoption fee is $600.

Pearl is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
