English Bulldog Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Chata, a 4-year-old, 45-pound bulldog mix who recently lost her home due to housing issues and is a little overwhelmed by shelter life. At heart, she’s a cuddle bug who loves to relax and soak up butt scritches. When she feels comfortable, she’ll come over, turn her little booty toward you, and politely request more pets, and then circle back for seconds.

Chata can be sensitive with new people and loud noises, so she’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can feel safe. She’ll need a patient adopter who will go slow with introductions and continue building her confidence. She is reportedly protective of items she really loves, so clear boundaries and positive training will help her thrive.

On leash, she walks nicely and enjoys peaceful sniffing adventures. With other dogs, she has exchanged appropriate greetings but tends to do her own thing. She could be happy as a solo gal, or live with a well-matched, respectful dog.
