Meet Lucy - The cutest bulldog with an irresistible face and gobs of charm. Lucy is affectionate, playful, and loves being with her people. She does well with other dogs and is kid friendly - a wonderful family companion. Because she can be mouthy in play and is still learning, she would do best in a home with kids 10+ or older. Whether she’s rolling around, showing off her wiggles, or settling in for some cozy downtime - she’s just a joy!

Lucy has shown incredible resilience - She was surrendered to the shelter while in labor with a puppy stuck, and bravely underwent an emergency C-section. Now safe and thriving, Lucy is estimated to be around 4 years old and ready for a fresh start.

Like many bulldogs, she has specific breed needs and will do best with an adopter who has experience with bulldogs or other brachycephalic breeds (they don’t know their own limits) - Familiarity with their unique structure, energy levels, and health considerations is a huge plus.

Lucy is crate trained and currently working on her house training, and continues to make progress with consistency and routine. She is also a BIG chewer, so having appropriate toys and supervision will help her succeed.

While Lucy has playful energy and loves to engage, her sturdy build and short legs mean long walks aren’t ideal—she’s happiest with play sessions, enrichment, and plenty of time to relax.

With the right home, Lucy will be a loving, loyal, and endlessly endearing companion. Sometimes the best love stories start with adoption… and once you meet her, you’ll understand why everyone says “I Love Lucy!”


She was born in May 2025 and is being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
