English Bulldog and Pekingese Dogs Available for Adoption

Bear is a lovable 21⁄2‐year‐old pup weighing 38 pounds, and he's eager to find a family who will give him the stability and affection he deserves. This sweet boy was surrendered to a local animal control after his previous family became overwhelmed with too many animals. Even with all the change in his life, Bear has remained gentle, friendly, and full of heart.

He has done wonderfully with the other dogs here at the facility and has shown an easygoing, social nature. Our veterinary team found no health concerns during his intake exam.

His adoption fee is $500.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

The Pekingese is a small and affectionate toy breed known for its lion like appearance, characterized by a distinctive flat face, dark eyes, and a flowing mane of fur. Originating in ancient China, these dogs were cherished as companions to royalty and nobility. Despite their small size, Pekingese are confident and independent dogs with a charming personality. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and benefit from early socialization and obedience training. Overall, the Pekingese makes a loyal and loving companion for those willing to invest time and effort into their care.
