DESCRIPTION

Meet Peanut! This sweet girl was born in December 2025 in Todos Santos, Mexico, and was rescued at just one month old. Since then, she’s been lovingly cared for in foster homes and is thriving while she waits to find her forever family! Peanut currently weighs about 40 lbs and is expected to be a medium-to-large dog, around 50 lbs fully grown. She’s the perfect mix of playful and gentle, an easygoing companion who loves both adventure and downtime. In her foster home, Peanut does great with cats, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has a sweet, respectful nature. She’s house trained, kennel trained, rides well in the car, and already knows some basic commands. Whether she’s joining her foster family at the office or heading out for a long walk, Peanut is happiest just being by your side. With her loving personality and adaptable nature, Peanut would make an amazing addition to just about any home, whether you have other pets or not. Peanut is being fostered in Washington and is ready to start her next and best chapter with you! Applications at therawleyproject.org

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
