DESCRIPTION
Monty is a one-and-a-half-year-old, approximately 65 lb Dutch Shepherd mix, who is a sweet, smart boy. He is very loving and aims to please his humans!
Monty is young and playful. He likes to play fetch the ball and will carry things for you. He likes to have a job to do and be helpful. If you are working on something, he observes, tilts his head, and will pick an item up to bring it to you--he's super supportive!
Since Monty still has puppy energy, he would do well with an active household, and would benefit from more training. A trainer recently assessed him and said that he has great potential to be a work dog or search dog. Monty is dog friendly and people friendly. We haven't seen him with kids, but we think he will do just fine. He is crate trained, house trained, neutered and up to date on his vaccines.
Looking for a best friend and loyal companion--Monty is your man!
This is a courtesy post. If you are interested in Monty, please email jacksdoghaven23@gmail.com and we will put you in direct contact with his foster.
