Meet Fia! Fia is a 5 year old female Doberman who arrived to us after a bite incident (minor) in the household. She is in need of a home WITHOUT children. She has coexisted with dogs but truthfully may be happier is an only Queen of the house. Fia is a beautiful dog, has been nothing but friendly for us here and appears housetrained. She has quite a history that is much too long for this bio, but she is an import dog and has lived quite a life prior to arriving here. When she did get here, Fia had a very severe UTI, along with retained placentas from her recently whelped litter. She has now been treated for her UTI, spayed, and had a full panel bloodwork to confirm there was nothing else going on. Her thyroid is normal which is excellent news. Doberman experience is a MUST. She will be an excellent dog for the right person and we are working hard to make sure she ends up in her forever home this time -- no more bouncing around! Her adoption fee is just $150. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please stop by the shelter to meet her, or call/email with questions: 6300-553-9256 or animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov
