Queen Jolene is a young Doberman Pinscher with a cropped tail and ears—part of her past before coming into rescue. At approximately 1 year and 8 months old, she is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, and ready to find the loving forever home she deserves.
Queen Jolene is very shy, incredibly sweet, and deeply loyal. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she knows you are her person, her devotion is unmatched. She will want to stay close, quietly admiring you and finding comfort simply in your presence. The bond she forms is strong, heartfelt, and truly special.
She is food motivated and has been working on gaining some needed weight in foster care. Because of her history, she would do best in a home that feeds her separately from other animals until she fully understands that food is secure and there will always be more. With patience and consistency, she continues to grow more confident each day.
Queen Jolene is good with other dogs and is currently living with cats, though her instinct to chase may mean she would thrive best in a home without them. She is wonderful with children—gentle, calm, and very sweet.
She is still learning how to simply be a dog. Toys are new to her, confidence in the yard is a work in progress, and she can show some nervous behaviors inside the home. What she needs most is a patient, loving family who will move at her pace and show her she is safe, valued, and cared for.
Queen Jolene is truly an amazing dog with so much potential. With time, reassurance, and kindness, she will continue to blossom into the confident companion she is meant to be. She doesn’t need perfection—she just needs someone willing to believe in her and give her the stability she deserves.
