Lucy is a gentle Doberman mix from the San Antonio shelter who was rescued alongside her friend Taffy. While Taffy is outgoing, Lucy is the softer, more reserved one.
Lucy is about 3-4 years old, 50lbs, incredibly sweet but shy. Lucy will benefit from continued socialization to help her build confidence. Once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine. She bonds deeply and just needs a patient home willing to give her the time she deserves.
She arrived a little underweight but is steadily gaining and doing very well. With proper care and love, she’s thriving more each day.
Lucy is fully potty trained, uses a doggy door consistently with no accidents in the home, and walks nicely on leash.
