Onyx is a 4–5 year old Doberman Pinscher located in Alabama who is looking for a very specific kind of home.

He is a loving, affectionate dog who truly enjoys being around his people—but he is also very high energy, and needs far more structure and one-on-one time than his current home can provide.

What Onyx needs:

An experienced, confident handler
Someone committed to consistent training and structure
A home able to provide daily exercise and mental stimulation
Ideally an adult-only home or older, dog-savvy kids

Temperament notes:

✔️ Very affectionate and people-oriented
✔️ Kid-friendly, but jumps and can easily knock someone over due to size and energy
⚠️ Very curious around other animals—may be too much for small dogs or cats

Onyx is a big, strong dog who does not realize his size. He is not a beginner dog—but in the right home, with the right guidance, he has the potential to be an incredibly loyal companion.
