Meet Stevie



Stevie is a 6-year-old Dachshund with a heart as big as her personality. Despite a difficult past, this resilient little girl has never lost her love for people and is ready to find a family of her very own.



Due to a traumatic injury before coming into rescue, Stevie is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair to help her get around. Don't let that fool you—she doesn't let her disability slow her down! Stevie is determined, adaptable, and full of life.



This sweet girl is the definition of a Velcro dog. She wants to be wherever her person is, whether that's curled up in your lap, burrowed under a cozy blanket, or following you around the house. She adores belly rubs, scratches, and all the love you can give. Stevie is also quite vocal and isn't shy about letting you know when she wants attention, a snack, or a little help.



Stevie gets along well with dogs and is kid-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. After spending years without the veterinary care she desperately needed, she is finally getting the love and support she deserves.



Stevie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and started on monthly prevention. Now all she needs is a family willing to look beyond her wheelchair and see the incredible, loving companion she truly is.
