Meet Luke – Your Low-Key, Loyal Companion!

Luke is a gentle 10–11-year-old gentleman looking for his forever home. Weighing in at about 17 lbs. (with a few pounds to spare), Luke is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a calm and peaceful presence. He’s happiest just hanging out in his bed or open crate in whatever room you’re in.

Health:
Luke has been thoroughly checked by specialists. He was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, but he is stable on daily medication (30 mg Vetoryl) and also takes Milk Thistle to support his liver. His condition is well-managed, but he will need routine bloodwork every 6-9 months to ensure his medication is still the right dose. X-rays showed he had IVDD in the past, but you’d never know it—he gets around great! To keep him safe, he’ll need ramps and should avoid jumping.
Personality:

Luke is a low-key, easygoing guy. He’s content as an only dog but does fine with most other dogs. He prefers a quiet home without kids or cats. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow friend who will be your loyal shadow, Luke might be your perfect match! He deserves a loving retirement home where he can relax and enjoy life.
