Long and low boy Dewey is looking to be your one-and-only puppy love! This handsome doxie-terrier mix pup is looking for an experienced adopter to love him and help him become the best dog he can be. Dewey prefers a respectful approach from new human friends, going at his own pace and getting comfortable before accepting gentle pets. He walks well on leash and enjoys treats, and even though he looks like a small pup Dewey prefers big-dog respect - no picking up for this guy! Dewey has been very forward with other dogs at the shelter and would need a slow and gentle introduction to any new dog friends. He would do best in an experienced home with no other dogs, adults only or dog-savvy kids age 13 and up. Do you have the patience for a pup in need of a little time and understanding to blossom?
