Meet Delilah & Limbo!

Delilah and Limbo are 10-year-old, 14 ounds (with weight to gain) Dachshund littermates (turning 11 on August 24th) who have spent their entire lives togetherand after everything they've been through, these twins are looking for a home where they can stay side by side forever.

Rescued alongside 40 other Dachshunds from a home with more than 60 dogs, Delilah and Limbo have amazed their foster family with their resilience, adaptability, and sweet dispositions. Despite the major changes in their lives, they settled into foster care almost immediately, quickly learning household routines and showing everyone just how wonderful they are.

These two are the definition of a bonded pair. They sleep curled up together or side by side every night, often sharing the same bed without a fuss. They eat their meals together, happily sharing space and making up for lost time with every bite. They truly are the yin to each other's yangdifferent personalities that fit together perfectly.

Delilah is the more outgoing of the two and absolutely loves affection. One of her favorite things is rubbing her back against her people to give herself a little back scratch while soaking up attention. She's affectionate, cheerful, and always wants to be where the action is.

Limbo is a bit more reserved when meeting new people, but once he settles in, his sweet nature shines through. His foster describes him as pure perfectiona gentle, loving boy who simply needs a moment to feel comfortable before showing his affectionate side.

Both dogs love being close to their people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of whatever you're doing. They are wonderful companions without being demanding and have quickly become cherished members of their foster home.

Delilah and Limbo are fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and are currently living peacefully with dogs weighing over 70 pounds as well as a smaller canine companion. They're also great with children and have proven themselves to be easygoing, social dogs who fit seamlessly into family life.

They are making excellent progress with house training and will use wee-wee pads when needed. Like many dogs adjusting to life in a home for the first time, they still have the occasional accident, but they're learning quickly and have already come so far.

What makes Delilah and Limbo so special isn't just their sweetnessit's their incredible spirit. After years spent as two of more than 60 dogs, they've remained trusting, loving, and eager to embrace every bit of kindness that comes their way.
