At 12 weeks old, Roy Kent the dachshund mix is the cool, independent little brother with plenty of personality. While he enjoys affection, he’s not quite the full-time lap dog like his brother — Roy prefers to keep things on his terms. He’ll come check in for pets, then bounce off to handle important puppy business.

Roy loves toys just as much as the next pup and is always ready for a playful romp. He’s curious, observant, and a little more thoughtful before diving into new situations. Don’t let that fool you though — once he’s comfortable, his silly side shines!

Blanket burrowing? Absolutely. Treats? Yes, please. Stealing your stuff? If it’s on the floor, it’s fair game. 😉

Roy would do great with a family that appreciates a pup with a slightly more independent streak — one who bonds deeply but doesn’t need to be glued to you 24/7. He’s got confidence, charm, and just the right amount of sass to keep life interesting. 💙
