DESCRIPTION
Hi there... we are a litter of 8 little orphans.
After we were born, our family decided we were just too much to handle. We guess eight puppies can feel like eight toddlers running around... but still, it hurt to be left behind.
When we were found, we were covered in fleas and living outside, unsure of what our future would hold. It was a scary and uncertain start to life.
But then everything changed.
We were given a second chance at Big Dog Ranch.
Now we have a safe place to rest, warm meals in our bellies, and people who care for us. For the first time, we don't have to worry-we just get to be puppies. We get to play, grow, and learn what love really feels like.
We've heard so many wonderful things about forever families... and we dream that one day soon, each of us will find one of our own.
Until then, we are so grateful for this temporary home and for everyone helping us on our journey.
Thank you, Big Dog Ranch, for giving us hope-and for helping us find the perfect family.
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
