Twix was impounded at the Weslaco shelter, and has been winning people over from the moment he arrived. He’s a classic “instant‑bond” dog—the type who chooses his person quickly and loves them deeply. Once you’re his person, you truly have a friend for life.

Twix is a charming low‑rider with a sweet, affectionate nature, but he does come with one important quirk: he can become possessive of his favorite human when other dogs are in the home. He isn’t aggressive—just overly devoted—and he needs an owner who can set clear boundaries, provide structure, and guide him with consistent training so he learns that sharing his person is okay.

He’s smart, eager to please, and incredibly connected once he trusts you. With the right leadership, Twix will thrive as the loyal, loving companion he’s meant to be.
