We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

Alexander is a soft-hearted little dog who came from the 62-dog hoarding situation and is still figuring out that life is safe now. He has a shy, sensitive nature and takes comfort in quiet spaces and gentle voices, but once he feels secure, his sweet personality begins to shine. He enjoys calm companionship, cozy resting spots, and the reassuring presence of people who move at his pace. Alexander does well with other dogs and would likely gain confidence from a calm canine friend. Because he is timid, he is looking for a peaceful, patient home where he can settle in slowly and continue building trust. With kindness and time, Alexander will become a deeply devoted companion to someone who understands gentle souls.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
