Buddy is an 8yo long haired dachshund who's looking for a home that will love him just as deeply as his previous owners do. He was originally cherished by a dear couple who have surrendered him due to health issues. Now he's ready for the next part of his story!
Buddy's neutered, heartworm negative, vaccinated, house trained and microchipped. He's cat, dog and poultry friendly. Because of his personality, he will do best in an adult‑only home where life is calm and predictable. He doesn't like surprises like fast-moving children, but he's NOT snippy. He can be 'barky' when meeting strangers for the first time, but he settles quickly. He loves to be with his people so he will only be approved to a home where his humans are with him the majority of the time. However, he's still very active and wants to be on the go with you! A sedentary life won't work for Buddy, and a fenced yard is a must for this curious fella!
**He is being treated for an ear infection and has a heart murmur. The heart murmur doesn't slow him down at all!**
