DESCRIPTION
Meet Finn -
Finn is an adorable Dachshund. This little guy came into animal control after being surrendered with his dad and brother. Finn is very scared and skittish. He will hide under his bed and try to get away from you. We will be looking for a specific home that has the patience and heart to help this little guy to learn to trust humans. We are requiring a home with a secure fenced yard for a small breed dog, as he cannot walk on leash and is a huge flight risk at this moment. Ideally, he would go to a home with another confident small dog. Once he learns to trust, he will be the best boy ever. These dogs are so rewarding... If you think you are the ideal home for Finn, please apply to furkids.org. His adoption fee is $315 and you must be 21 years old to adopt.
ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
