Meet Figge



This tiny 6-pound approx 1 1/2-2yr year old sweetheart may be little, but her story is mighty.



Figge found herself turned in to a shelter scared, shut down, underweight, and with a dull, flaky coat that told the story of a girl who hadn’t always been cherished the way she deserved. She kept her heart guarded.



But oh… just wait until you see her now.



With good food, gentle hands, and lots of love, Figge has absolutely blossomed. Her coat sparkles and shines, her eyes light up a room, and her personality? Pure sunshine. She loves with her whole tiny heart. She’ll prance around ready to play, and then happily curl up beside you for the sweetest snuggles.



Because she is a petite and fragile Figge needs a home without small children and without large dogs. She doesn’t take up much space but she does require a family who understands that small dogs need gentle handling and safe surroundings.



Figge is looking for her forever home where she can be the star of the show, soak up attention, and finally know what it feels like to be someone’s whole world.

Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.

The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
