Luke and his sister were found as strays in a rural town we help. Someone in the neighborhood saw them and picked them up. She asked us for help and we were able to bring them into a foster home. Luke been in our care since December, and he has completed his veterinary care. Now, he is ready to find a forever home.
Luke has a laid back personality, and he loves to be held. He likes to wrap his paws around your hand if you are holding him. He is a little smaller than his sister, and he has done great with children as young as 1 year. He is also fine with indoor cats. Luke is house trained and leash trained.
Luke is 1 year old and weighs 10 pounds. We think he’s a Dachshund mix. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Luke can arrive in Latham, New York on 3/28. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
