Leia and her brother were found as strays in a rural town we help. Someone in the neighborhood saw them and picked them up. She asked us for help and we were able to bring them into a foster home. Leia been in our care since December, and she has completed her veterinary care. Now, she is ready to find her forever home.
Leia is an outgoing girl, and she wants to be with anyone who will give her attention. She loves to play fetch, but will also happily sit in your lap and cover you with kisses. She has done great with children as young as 1 year. She is also fine with indoor cats. She is house trained and leash trained.
Leia is 1 year old and weighs 13 pounds. We think she’s a Dachshund mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Leia can arrive in Latham, New York on 3/28. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
