THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN LOUISIANA AND WILL COME TO CANADA WITH AN ACCEPTED ADOPTION CONTRACT. PUPPIES UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MONTHS CANNOT COME TO CANADA WITHOUT AN APPROVED ADOPTER. Meet Dips
Dips is a 6 month old (born in October 2025), 11lb. male Dachshund mix. He is a little miracle with the longest legs, and is like a lanky curl-e-q, and a story that will stay with you. He came from the hoarding case where 36 dogs were surviving inside an RV with no running water or electricity… and when we first got him, he was nothing but skin and bones. You could count every rib on his tiny body.
But look at him now.
This gray and tan brindle boy with touches of white has come to life in the most beautiful way. He’s grown into this sweet, gentle, loving soul who just wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he missed out on.
And his personality? Oh my goodness… Dips doesn’t just walk—he walks in cursive. Long, lanky, curly, wiggly… like a little green bean string bouncing across the room. Watching him play will absolutely make your day.
He is:
- Up-to-date on vaccines
- Neutered
- Microchipped
- On preventions
But more than anything… he is ready. Ready for a home that will never let him go hungry again. Ready for a family that will cherish just how special he is.
After everything he’s been through, Dips deserves a future filled with comfort, safety, and so much love it makes up for his past.
If you’re looking for a dog that will melt your heart and remind you daily what resilience looks like… Dips is your boy.
