Meet Royce!

Royce is one of the adorable little survivors from a recent hoarding case, and at just 12 weeks old (born in January 2026) and 4 pounds, this Dachshund mix is full of love and personality.

He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate—a true little love bug who’s just as happy romping around as he is sitting beside you soaking up attention.

Royce enjoys spending time on the porch, taking in the fresh air and playing to his heart’s content. He also loves being around other pups and feels most comfortable when he has companionship nearby, whether it’s furry friends or his humans.

He’s off to a great start with his routine, using puppy pads for potty time and sleeping in his crate at night. Royce would do best in a home where he’s not alone too often and can continue to build confidence with lots of love and interaction.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social pup who will stick by your side and fill your days with joy, Royce could be the perfect addition to your family.

At Rat Terrier Rescue Canada we pride ourselves on matching our dogs with their best furever homes.
