NOVA

April 13th
female, small, young
DESCRIPTION
Meet Nova! She is just over a year old and weighs 13 lbs.
She is shy at first with strangers.
She has been in a foster home for a few weeks now and they have found that she is good with other dogs (all sizes!) She is still a nervous little
thing and will take time and patience to earn her trust. However, once you have it, she will stick to you like glue. Her foster mom calls her a Velcro dog.
She would be best with older children because she is too nervous for young kids. She would be better in a quieter, less chaotic home. She is crate trained and does well in her crate while her foster parents are at work. She sleeps in bed with them though and easily sleeps through the night.
ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The Pomeranian is a small dog breed known for its vibrant personality and fluffy coat. Originating from Pomerania in Central Europe, these dogs are intelligent, alert, and exceptionally friendly, making them excellent companions for both individuals and families. Pomeranians require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious double coat, which can come in various colors. Despite their small size, they are lively and confident, often displaying a curious nature and playful demeanor that endears them to their owners.
