Dachshund and Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

If you’re looking for a dog who embodies resilience, look no further than our handsome guy, Linc. At 3 years old, this "short and sturdy" Pittie/Dachshund mix (yes, you read that right!) . This is our best guess. He weighs about 30lbs.

Linc’s story started with a heartbreak—he was surrendered to a high-kill city shelter and found himself on the euthanasia list.

This poor guy hasn't had it easy. Since arriving at Saving Grace, Linc has been diagnosed with both tick-borne disease and heartworms. He has finished treatment for both and proving to be such a brave fighter!

His Dog Friends: Linc is social and truly enjoys the company of other dogs with soft play style. He likes to play rough if he initiates that type of play.

Quiet Strolls: While he can't do marathons right now, he absolutely loves a slow, quiet walk to sniff the grass.

Second Chances: After everything he’s been through, Linc just wants a place where he is safe, loved, and never has to worry about being "left behind" again.

Any Toys: Benebones bring him so much joy!

Linc is a unique, sweet soul who has so much love left to give. He’s looking for a hero to take him the rest of the way home. He will be neutered prior to adoption, but we are waiting a bit longer to get into a safe window after heartworm treatment. Could it be you?
